The labour

My total labour time was around 9 hours which I was told by the midwife pretty good for first baby =)  I'm also very proud to say I had a natural and drug free labour - thank god for gas and air and my TENS machine (I'd recommend this machine to any mums to be!).

On the afternoon of 27th June 2011, Jasmine Yu was born..she was quite the peaceful baby (no crying for the first few minutes) and she kept her eyes closed until I held her for the first time in my arms..her eyes slowly opened to have a quick peep at mummy. Once she had a look she shut her eyes again! She didn't open her eyes again until the next morning - lazy baby!  -.-

This is such a cliche but even though the pain was unbearable, it was all worth it!

Hi there,

This blog will be about my first baby called Jasmine - born on 26th June 2011. Weighing 6lbs 7oz she was quite the tiny baby! I hope to share some pictures and memories with you plus it's also nice for me to look back on my posts as the past 3 months have gone so quick it's almost a blur! 

This is my first time as a blogger, hope you enjoy it and it would be nice to hear about your experiences of your little ones too!
